Our Web Development Process

At Rapid Revival Web Site Design, we have a customized four step process for every client. It has been created to streamline production and keep you aware at every step exactly how close we are to completion.

Step 1: Evaluation

Initially we require four pieces of information from you in order to create an accurate profile of the job, and to be able to create the materials in Step 2.

	Tell us about your organization. The more we know about who you are and what you do, the better we can create the custom graphics and color schemes for your web site. Earth colours for environmentally geared businesses, metallic colours for industry, etc.
	Do you currently have a web site? If you've got a web site currently, we might get a better feel for what you're looking for by what you've probably asked for in the past. If you don't like a thing about it, however, that's perfectly fine and we will start with a design completely from scratch.
	What do you want in your web site? It's quite probable that a small (perhaps large) list of content, features, and graphics has grown in the time from when you first thought about your own custom web site to now. We want to know every item on the list so that we can incorporate them into the design.
	What is your budget for the project? We strongly believe that the launch of your new web site should be as large an event as it is a seamless integration into your business, and an unprepared blow to your wallet should not be a part of that. We customize every potential site to the client's budget, to ensure the maximum quality, accuracy, and speed are attained.

Step 2: Prototype and Design

In the second step, we evaluate the information you gave us in Step 1 to create a graphical sketch or rudimentary outline of the layout of the site, and possibly some of the key graphics that will be involved such as a logo, special header, or graphical footer. This is by no means a permanent commitment, but rather a solid foundation on which to begin the creative process.

Step 3: Production

The third and most rewarding step of the process: the creation of your web site. We use our very own web server as a shipyard to raise the web site onto a supportable structure that follows the rules of the web. By uploading a clone of the web site to be, we acquire the ability to preview PHP, mySQL, and JavaScript in ways that simple production on a local computer cannot achieve. Also, the added benefit of this is that you, the client, get to see the exact process and development of the project in Real Time! We provide you with a temporary URL with which to view what is currently being built or modified.

Step 4: Satisfaction

At this point, we seamlessly transfer the clone web site to your normal web hosting service, and the project is complete! A few finishing touches may be added, but ultimately the job is now done. Any modifications or plans for changes in the future can be scheduled and notarized at this point. However, this doesn't have to be where the web site stops growing - the power of controlling your online representation is entirely in your hands now!
